Come See the Difference
Take Highway 181 toward the beautiful mountains of western North Carolina, and turn left at the first campground you spot. Take the gravel road past the nursery to Rose Creek Family Campground. You won't believe your eyes, especially if you've been here in the past several years. The sunny yellow store is stocked with all your camping needs (including ice cream- a must have for most campers at least once a day). Adjacent to the store is the arcade. Go ahead and drop the kids off there because they'll be dying to play games, win tickets, and collect prizes. For those children who are more interested in enjoying the outdoors, the swimming area is right by the office. Be sure and warn them that the creek water might be really cold! Then take the circle drive-watch out for the ducks- and you'll find the spot that seems to be calling your name. In the shade, by the pond, creekside, whereever you like, and enjoy your stay. If you can't stay the night, come up for a day of relaxation. Let the kids run wild while you throw out your line and kick back. The catfish are always biting! Or have some ice cream while no one is looking, so you don't have to share. Guest fees are cheap considering all there is to do in a day. We look forward to showing you the results of our hard work. Rose Creek really has changed a lot. It's a beautiful place to be!
